"Purpose"
Poetry is literal expression, vividly professing emotional, visual concepts and perceptions...poetry elicits our imperfections...conveying our flaws in each verse, each lyrical wound exudes a commanding verbal presence; a portrayal of our history's pains, struggles and blessings; our deepest thoughts and concerns distressingly in tuned,we are society's lyrical vessels...But what's in a word...? You suppose I'm a decent writer, maybe "great" writer even, because I play with big, fancy words; well pardon my vernacular but what is a word, how substantial is a word if it has no profound meaning; what is a thought if it doesn't spark a deeper sense of knowing and thy unknown. I'm a great writer because of how my words make you feel, the emotions and thoughts and uncertainties I provoke from deep within; that's what makes a paramount writer. Intelligence is not defined merely by obtained knowledge; quite simply its how one utilizes and transforms that knowledge-yes thy interpretation is the genius of it all. The ability to think and equate and analyze and question for yourself is one of the greatest and most valuable abilities one could and should possess. God created us all in perfection and purity; still we are not perfect but we all are unique and talented in one way or another. Some of us just take longer realizing what that skill is. Some skills we're born with whereas some skills we learn and perfect overtime but nevertheless we are naturally gifted and all serve a purpose in this world before we leave this world. -Mellow
